Eligibility: The prize draw is open to all individuals who make a donation to support the charity bike ride in aid of Candlelighters Children's Cancer Charity via our just giving page.
Prize: The winner will receive a two-night stay at either Yorkshire Spa Retreat (located at Gale Lane, Nawton, YO62 7SD) or any Leisure Resorts Park (Aysgarth Lodges, Leyburn DL8 3SP, Angrove Country Park, Great Ayton, TS9 3SN or Ullswater Heights, Newbiggin CA11 0JB) . The prize is subject to availability and excludes peak periods, such as school holidays or other special dates.
How to Enter: To enter the prize draw, individuals must make a donation to the charity bike ride. No personal data will be taken as part of this entry process beyond the details required for donation. Contributions of any size are eligible for entry into the prize draw.
Prize Draw Date: The winner will be drawn on July 31st, 2025. All valid donations received before the draw date will be automatically entered into the prize draw.
Winner Notification: The winner will be contacted by telephone and email using the contact information provided with their donation. If the winner does not respond within 7 days of being contacted, a new winner will be selected.
Data Protection: No personal data, aside from what is necessary for contacting the winner, will be retained or used for any purpose other than the prize draw. Personal data will not be shared with any third party.
Contribution Size: The size of your donation will not affect your chances of winning. Each valid donation, regardless of amount, will have an equal chance of being selected for the prize draw. All donations made will go directly towards Candlelighters Children's Cancer Charity, supporting their mission to provide crucial help to children and families affected by cancer.
Prize Booking: The winner must book their stay within 6 months of the competition draw date. Blackout dates may apply, and the stay is subject to availability.
General Terms: The promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entries that are incomplete or invalid. By entering the prize draw, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
Other Information: The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives. Travel, accommodation, and other expenses related to the prize are not included unless otherwise stated.

The competition opens on 20th April, 2024, and closes on 31st December, 2024. The winner will be announced within 14 days of the closing date. The prize must be claimed and booked within 28 days, and is valid for arrival up until 30th November 2025.
The competition is open to participants aged 18 and over.
The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
The winner will be drawn at the end of 2024 and will win an Ownership Experience to be enjoyed in 2025.
The prize is for 4 people, is subject to availability, and blackout dates may apply.
Transportation to and from Yorkshire Spa Retreat is not included.

However, we understand we may not always get it right. In the unlikely event that our guests may feel it appropriate to make a complaint, the following outlines the Yorkshire Spa Retreat procedure and policy.
COMPLAINT PROCEDURE: LUXURY LODGE HOLIDAY GUESTS
All luxury lodge holidays are booked via our partner Hoseasons under the terms and conditions as stated on their website. Any queries should be raised initially with the Hoseasons team. Please see: Contacting Hoseasons
COMPLAINT PROCEDURE: SPA & RESTAURANT GUESTS
Our Yorkshire Spa Retreat team will ensure that your visit with us is as relaxing as possible, and will look after your needs throughout your visit, so if you do have any queries with regards to you experience with, we would kindly recommend that you have a chat with our Guest Experience Team, who will always be happy to help. Our friendly team will seek to rectify your query immediately and ensure we get your experience right back on track. However, if for any reason this is not possible, they will escalate any issues raised to the park Owners who will review your query.

If we are unable to resolve the matter immediately, we’ll send an acknowledgement of receipt of the query/complaint (via post or email) within 5 business days.
If we require more information, we will get in touch with you via your preferred means of communication. Our guest resolution target is within 28 working days of us receiving your query/complaint and we will certainly provide you as a minimum a progress update within this timeframe.
If for whatever reason this is not possible, we will contact you to explain the reasons why and let you know how long our investigations are likely to take.

We are committed to treating you fairly and transparently, and to dealing with your concerns as quickly as we can. If you would like to speak to someone about our complaints procedures, or the way we have handled a complaint, please give us a call 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, on 01439 413102 and we will do our utmost to resolve your complaint.
Discounts and special offers may be made in conjunction with our published prices. The cost per holiday, after any discounts, may vary by arrival date and accommodation type. All discounts and special offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn without prior notice. Special offers cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion and will only be honoured if mentioned at the time of booking. The price confirmed at the time of booking is the price you will pay, discounts cannot be applied retrospectively. Only one offer per booking.
