Festive Opening Hours
Throughout December and January, we’ll be open with special festive hours to ensure you can relax, dine, and celebrate the season in style.
Join us for festive dining, seasonal celebrations, and plenty of winter cheer – we can’t wait to welcome you!
The Spa & Reception:
Open Christmas Eve (10am–3:30pm) and New Year’s Eve (10am–3:30pm).
Closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
On Boxing Day, the spa will be open exclusively for lodge guests from 11am–2pm.
The Dome Restaurant & Bar:
Christmas Parties – Available Tuesday to Saturday for lunch (12–2:30pm) and dinner (5–8pm).
Christmas Eve – Lunch 12–4pm (normal menu), then closed until our Christmas Eve Quiz at 6:30pm.
Christmas Day – One sitting Christmas Lunch at 1pm. Bar open from 11am (closing to non-diners at 1pm).
Boxing Day – 12-3:30 Festive Platters
New Year’s Eve – Lunch 12–3pm. Evening Gala Dinner from 7pm (ticketed event only).
New Year’s Day – Open 12–4pm for Sunday Lunch.
Christmas Parties!
Celebrate the festive season in style with our Christmas Party Menus, available from 25th November – 23rd December. Available Tuesday to Saturday, lunch and dinner. Perfect for local businesses, groups of friends, or family get-togethers, our party package includes a delicious 3-course menu designed to capture the flavours of Christmas. Parties are available for groups of 6 or more guests and require a pre-order and £10 deposit per person. Gather your colleagues or loved ones, raise a glass, and let us take care of the festive cheer this season!
Christmas Day Dinner
Make this Christmas one to remember with a dining experience filled with sparkle, flavour and festive cheer. Begin your day in style with a glass of chilled fizz and elegant canapés, before being treated to a chef’s amuse bouche – the perfect prelude to a feast that’s all about indulgence. Choose from a selection of beautifully crafted starters, show-stopping mains and decadent puddings, each designed to capture the very best of the season. All you need to do is relax, raise a glass, and enjoy every moment. Enjoy a truly luxurious Christmas Day with family and friends in the heart of Yorkshire.
New Years Eve Gala
Step into a night of celebration and sophistication as we bid farewell to 2025 in unforgettable style. Our exclusive New Year’s Eve Gala promises an evening filled with music, flowing drinks, and a spectacular seven-course dining experience crafted to impress from 7:00pm. As the clock ticks towards midnight, join us for a dazzling countdown and raise a glass to the year ahead in the most luxurious of settings. This is a ticketed event with limited availability – and it always books up quickly – so secure your place now and get ready to welcome 2026 in true Yorkshire Spa Retreat style.
Christmas Eve Quiz
Gather your family, friends – and even your four-legged companions – this Christmas Eve for a fun-filled evening at our Charity Quiz in The Dome Restaurant & Bar, starting at 6:30pm. This family-friendly event is just £10 per person, with all proceeds going to Candlelighters, a children’s cancer charity close to our hearts. Drinks will be available throughout the night to keep the festive spirit flowing, and nibble platters will be provided to enjoy while you quiz. With our pet-friendly venue, everyone in the family can join in the festive fun.Come along, test your knowledge, and share in the seasonal cheer while supporting a truly worthy cause.
Seasonal Spa Day's
Embrace the magic of the season with our Wintering Spa Day – a retreat created to wrap you in warmth and comfort. Enjoy three hours in our luxury spa facilities before indulging in your choice of a 60-minute treatment: the Warm Natural Health Facial or the Life Force Magnesium Paste Foot & Back Massage. Between moments of calm, savour a seasonal two-course lunch and sip on a winter-spiced warming drink (with non-alcoholic options available). A festive escape filled with relaxation, indulgence, and a sprinkle of Christmas cheer.
